Molly Brodak

American Literature

Molly Brodak received her MFA from West Virginia University and her BA from Oakland University. She is the author of two chapbooks, Instructions for a Painting (Greentower Press, 2007) and The Flood (Coconut Books, 2012), and the poetry collection A Little Middle of the Night (Univ. of Iowa Press, 2010) which won the 2009 Iowa Poetry Prize. Her poems have appeared recently in FIELD, Kenyon Review Online, Colorado Review, The Collagist, Ninth Letter and elsewhere. Her academic interests include art writing, aesthetics, and the history of ekphrastic poetry. She’s currently Creative Writing Fellow in Poetry at Emory University.
